How Does it Work?
Cosmetic Treatment with Veneers
Veneers are typically made of porcelain and they are designed to fit perfectly over the front surfaces of your teeth. By covering up your enamel, veneers can treat a wide variety of different cosmetic issues, ranging from uneven and gapped teeth to slightly-crooked, stained or misshapen teeth. Veneers are strong and durable, and they are a great long-term option to improve the aesthetics of your smile.
What Can I Expect
The Veneer Treatment Process
Once Dr. Pizzi approves you for treatment, we can typically complete your procedure in just two visits. At your first appointment, a small amount of enamel will be removed from your teeth to prepare them for veneers. This is done to ensure that your veneers fit seamlessly and look natural. Then, images and impressions of your teeth will be taken and sent to our partner dental lab.
It will take about 2-3 weeks for your veneers to be built, so we will attach a set of temporary veneers for you to wear in the meantime. Once your permanent veneers arrive at our office, Dr. Pizzi will check them to ensure that the fit is perfect, then bond each one into place using dental cement.

How Long Will Veneers LasT?
With proper care, you can expect your veneers to last 10-15 years or longer. To ensure that your veneers last as long as possible, be sure to brush and floss properly, and see Dr. Pizzi for an oral exam every six months. It’s also good to avoid chewing non-food objects or hard foods with your front teeth to prevent chipping or dislodging of your veneers.
The cost of veneers depends on the number of factors, including how many teeth you would like to treat and your oral health. To get an accurate cost estimate, schedule a consultation with Dr. Pizzi today!
